Inception Totem Thoughts
At the aftermath of inception, with the top spinning and the entire audience sitting there and watching it “bhwrwwm”, it sure makes one think. It is in my humble opinion that Cobb made it back to reality, and also again in my opinion that that is really quite a cool spinning silver top. It also made me feel like creating my own totem. It so happened I had a poker chip, just like Eames although I am much more reluctant to modify it. I do think that as quite a few hobby pages that have sprouted up have mentioned that a loaded die or dice like that of Arthur’s would be the easiest to make in one’s own backyard or basement. Heck, some hobby shops even sell pre loaded die for chosen numbers.
Recently the blu ray version of the movie has also came out for purchase, which makes me tempted to get it to watch it all over again. At this point inception has probably made its way into pop culture, with a lot of memes being generated for it. For the record, Cobb made it back to reality. The kids were older according to the credits, hard evidence that he made it back to ‘shore’ so to speak.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
